Hi thEre!
I’m El Pimentel, a designer and Georgia Tech student passionate about using design to connect and strengthen communities.
I’ve learned codesign methods across a range of projects grounded in the Atlanta community: branding for the Refugee Women’s Network, a play installation for the Fulton County Library, and most recently, as a founding member of the overdose prevention startup Nalopack. By whatever name you call it, participatory design, codesign, or community-centered design, I believe design processes that put communities first lead to lasting and equitable solutions.
Outside of the studio, I love sewing costumes for student theater, illustrating comics, and exploring hiking spots near Atlanta.
Let's get a coffee!
